Toning & Chanting with
Addiction Recovery
 Addiction is everywhere
in our society; we live in an addictive society. We have not only the
chemical addictions like drugs and alcohol but we also have “process
addictions” such as compulsive shopping, gambling, spending, and sex
addiction. Eating disorders kill hundreds of young women each year and
contribute to the deterioration of the body, as do all of the
addictions.
Can music really help? Can toning and chanting make a difference? The
answer is yes, for many, many people it makes a big difference.
Toning and chanting are intended to be used along with 12-step recovery
programs. These sonic power tools have nothing to do with religion or
any religious ideas. I have been teaching these techniques for many
years and have seen the benefits they bring.
The program was recorded at a large seminar I gave in 2002. You will
learn these techniques along with the group you are hearing and have
opportunity to practice along with them.
